So You want to know a little bit about him....

Woody Wylde started Djing in 2006.
This was after meeting up with Daren Bailie at Lloyds No-1 bar The V shed In Bristol.

Darren started Training Woody on the decks starting with the basics the cuing up of tracks. After a few nights Darren left Woody at the helm and watched from afar.

''Dropped in at the deep end is the only way you will learn'' Wise words Darren.

So playing to a packed club ,albeit a little ropy at first, he noticed potential in Woody and with teaching him beat matching scratching mixing and reading the dance floor He gave him his big break.
All these skills were before the lap top DJs took over!

In 2008 started branching out in to producing and production.
 
The Guru josh project. 
This was also to include 
Guru Josh (1990 time for the guru) Anders Nyman (Snakebyte) Who is a well-known producer from Sweden.
Anders is also famous for his work in the bubble-gum genre with Smile dk and Genie, he also branched out and became a DJ and he has been seen playing clubs around the world.

The first single from Guru josh project was INFINITY 2008 this is a remix and reworking of the self titled track infinity (1990 time for the guru) by Guru Josh when it was released It Was A Global Smash Hit, so after the success of INFINITY The Guru Josh Project took to the road. .footage is on YouTube and can only be summed up as phenomenal.
 
Woody had by now started doing Events.
So he then met up with a long-time friend DJ Miles Toms,
Woody met Miles way back in the early 90's at various pubs and clubs in and around Bristol.
They had a mutual love and understanding of Funky house and Electro house and 90's Dance.

​Miles needed a driver so Woody then drove Miles to events in Cardiff and Bristol and further afield.

While at these event Miles let Woody take over the decks as support DJ.
He played Hed Kandi and 90's floor filler sets and of course dropping in different mixes of INFINITY into these sets at every opportunity and packing the dance floor.

Woody's sets ranged from 45 mins to 2hrs and playing B2B battles with Miles this was beyond Woody's Expectations and this train started gathering speed at an exceptional speed the carriages were rocking and rolling again.

With Miles there were great nights in the heart of Bristol's student capital Clifton.Guest slots at The Elbow rooms
Joe public's and White ladies road BSB & VR. 

In Bristol events started coming in with Woody now owning FPR (Funky Pie Records) He started doing private events some students offered him to play at house party.
A few corporate functions came in via word of mouth.(stories for another time maybe)
Also the usual Weddings and birthdays Etc.
But this gave to a more expanding musical knowledge and various genre.

Woody is Now Djing Successful Club nights for WDW communications Club Mod and The Weekend Starts.
 
playing The Thunderbolt & Zed Alley are great intimate venues. A great venue was River city this being one of his favourite venues.

A highlight is that Woody has been guest DJ for the Two tone founder the legendary Jerry Dammers.

People have said "Catch him you will not leave disappointed"
